We have complied the list of the most common questions asked about taking piano lessons ans answered them for you.
Absolutely, I teach people from all entry levels and can adapt the content of lessons to best benefit the individual.
Unfortunately, I am currently only accepting adult students due to having a high number of young learners. However, you are welcome to enquire about piano lessons for your children and I will inform you of the current waiting time for lessons for young students.
I can teach both groups and individually. If you have a group of friends you would like to learn with it can be arranged also. Please leave a week's notice in advance for any group bookings.
I teach from my home studio located in Reading, RG1 7YT. It is a great place to learn to play that piano with a friendly, relaxing environment. It is also easy to access from other forms of public transport, including Reading West train station which is only a few minutes walk away.
Depending on your entry level the lessons will include working from worksheets and books or looking at more advanced music in the genre of your choice. Scores from ready-made songs will be available and as we progress we can start working on writing our own scores if required. We will also concentrate on playing techniques such as hand position and pedalling. For more advanced students, working on classical pieces simply for pleasure, or exam work up to grade eight and beyond is possible.
I do offer gift vouchers, please do not hesitate to contact me either by telephone or email.
Please note that Piano Lessons Reading operates a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of the arranged time the student will be charged the full price of the lesson. Should you need to cancel a lesson please contact me at your earliest opportunity to re-arrange.
A great call to action setence to get the student interested in getting in touch.
